Details
Why would you organize a Big Question Week? As a section of Spatial Planning and Strategy, we are continuously tinkering with our role as academics: how can we advance scholarship and, at the same time, meaningfully engage with society? Our hunch is that Big Question Week can make a difference. In this interactive session, we will explore this question. Or put differently, we will try to answer questions about the big question. When is a question ‘big’ enough? How to formulate good questions, for instance, through ‘what-ifs’? And what is an apt timeframe? We could have also chosen a month, a year, or even a decade. We will also present why, for this Big Question Week, we chose the question: What if spatial planning took intergenerational justice seriously?
