What if spatial Planning took intergenerational justice seriously

POWERED BY THE SPS SECTION
Spatial Planning & Strategy at TU Delft
Based on the understanding of the built environment as a cultivated landscape, Spatial Planning and Strategy is a section in the Department of Urbanism within the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of Delft University of Technology. Strongly anchored on the Dutch tradition of city-making, we bridge the gap between spatial design, planning, and management. We seek forward-thinking approaches able to deal with the great societal challenges of our time and are concerned with knowledge about the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of strategic and urban planning tools – visions, strategies, plans, and programmes.

One week, one big question. That is the idea behind the Big Question Week (BQW) presented by TU Delft’s section of Spatial Planning and Strategy. Our hunch is that intellectual magic can happen through a week of heightened scholarly and societal intensity about a key question in the field. In 2025, the inaugural Big Question Week will take place. Read more about this question here!
